This is our 20th anniversary.....and we are planning A BIG ONE.... WE PURPOSEFULLY LIMIT THE RACE ENTRIES TO APPROXIMATELY 800 RUNNERS. YOU WILL NEED TO ACT FAST, IF YOU WANT TO BE A PART OF OUR 2018 RACE. In 2017, we pretty much sold out, before the end of January (ie within 3 weeks of opening entries). WE ARE UNABLE TO OFFER PLACES 'ON THE DAY'. Due to being completely sold out, well in advance. Our faster runners will complete the course in around 25 minutes, whereas we know that our event also attracts newer, less speedy runners. We encourage all abilities Run partly on (partially closed) roads, plus through the Trossley Country park, and set on the edge of the North Downs, it is a simply beautiful event. The tee shirt will be a good quality ‘technical running top’ and priced somewhere in the £5 to £10 range. The design will likely be ‘Parental Guidance Required’ and likely to make small children cry (a bit like the 1999 running top we had, on our 1st ever race). If you are at all interested, please indicate a ‘YES’ on the tee shirt question on the application. You will not be charged, at this stage. IF THERE IS SUFFICIENT DEMAND we will get the tops (advertise them via social media, before the event) and they will be available to purchase on the day.
