| Organiser's notes: | The popular Rye Summer Classic series returns for a third year. The first race in the three-race Friday night series on this super-fast, traffic-free road course is through Rye Nature Reserve at Rye Harbour in East Sussex. The course is flat and low-lying and partly runs adjacent to the shingle storm ridges on the coastal road. Would suit runners of all standards including beginners. Points scored in each race count towards overall Series prizes (first 100 male and female finishers in each race score points). Memento to all finishers and Limited Edition tshirt for Series entrants. The race is raising funds for St Michael's Hospice and Beckley Village Centre. A great summer family night out - and the lovely town of Rye beckons for weekenders! |
