| Organiser's notes: | The second in this popular three race Friday Night series - the final one is in September - this super-fast, traffic-free road course is through Rye Nature Reserve at Rye Harbour in East Sussex. The course is flat and low lying and partly runs adjacent to the shingle storm ridges on the coastal road. Would suit runners of all standards including beginners. Points scored in each race count towards overall Series prizes (first 100 male and female finishers in each race score points). Limited Edition t-shirt to all Series entrants and memento to all finishers. The race is raising funds for St Michael's Hospice, the Rye Harbour Nature Reserve, The Rye Harbour Sailing Club and Beckley Village Centre. A great summer family night out - and the lovely town of Rye beckons for weekenders! |
