Set in the beautiful Essex village of Pleshey, on the outskirts of Chelmsford. The undulating, figure of 8, fully marshalled route takes you through the scenic country roads to finish back at the Village Hall where refreshments will be available. T-Shirts and Medals will be given to all finishers. Prizegiving for the Pleshey Half marathon will be held in conjunction with the Essex AA Half Marathon Championship prizegiving. A fully marshaled half marathon incorporating the Essex County Championship. Chip-timing, held over a figure of eight course, starting in the main road near the footpath entrance to the castle, finishing in the Pleshey Village Hall field.
