The 10km, voted, by Runners World, in the top three 10k events in the South East is a varied course, mostly on road, with around 2km of hard surfaced woodland trail. At whatever pace you choose to complete, this course will give you a great workout. There is plenty of variety, including long straights, sharp turns, on road and off road, a water point at 5k and...the hill at 9.5k! The hill has become a feature of the event. It is short and steep, and with just 500m to go to the finish, as long as you have kept some energy in reserve, you can power up it, and almost coast to the finish from the top. We're hoping that we may have one or two new course record breakers this year. At present, the Ladies record stands at 37:15; the Men's record, set in 2006, stands a 33:19. Could it be you?
