Organised by Grange Farm and Dunmow Runners and celebrating it 21st year, the award-winning Remembrance Day Stebbing 10 is a 10 mile race on gently undulating, scenic north Essex country lanes. The race starts outside Stebbing Church and finishes in the village. The race HQ is at the Stebbing Primary School - the race start is 5 minutes walk away at the church and it finishes back at the school. All finishers will receive a commemorative medal and there will be prizes for multiple categories. The race will be chip timed with numbers and chips to be collected on the day between 9am and 10.30am. The roads will be closed at 10.45am (please park well before then in the race car parks) with runners paying their respects at 11am outside the church with two minutes silence as part of the Remembrance Day service. The race will start at around 11.05am outside of the church. The course will be well marked and marshalled with first aid support. Water stations will be provided. As the race is on the roads in and over ear headphones are banned and ensure that you comply with England Athletic rules. The minimum allowed England Athletics age on the day for 10 mile road events is 17 years.
