Event Overview: This event is an exhilarating, fast and flat race along the seafront. In the previous two years, we incorporated an elite wave to the race so that runners of all abilities can enjoy the wonderful race-day buzz of Folkestone Coastal. The elite wave will return in 2024 and qualification times remain at 36 minutes for men and 40 minutes for ladies. The chance of a fast time is just one of the reasons this race has always been popular. Another reason is its suitability for runners of all standards – from experienced athletes to those with limited race experience and first time runners. Everyone is welcome to the start line for an unforgettable race. You won't want to miss this one! Course Overview: The 10 kilometre run will start from Folkestone seafront, head towards Hythe and then return, whilst taking in the beautiful coastal scenery that the area has to offer. This is a flat promenade route, traffic free and a great race; you'll enjoy every moment.
