Course: Wix 5 is a great race for PB potential – having a predominantly flat profile with a long, gradual descent for the final mile. This five-mile road course is a single, anti-clockwise lap of a road course through the Essex Villages of Wix, Stones Green and passing Great Oakley. The race is fully marshalled and there is a drinks station at around the 3 mile point.

Important Information

Please aim to arrive at the Race HQ at least 60 minutes before the start.  Race marshals will instruct you on where to collect your race number, which can be collected from 9am.

·       Tea Coffee and Cake will be available after the race

·       A Photographer has been arranged to record your race day effort.

·       Limited car Parking is available – Runners are strongly asked to car share . Car Parking will be split between Wix Primary School and Wix Village Hall . As a result entries will be limited 200. This will be increased if more car parking becomes available nearer the time

·       For Cyclists and those arriving on foot please travel to the Race HQ – Wix Village Hall, Harwich Road,Wix CO11 2RY . Secure cycle parking will be provided at Race HQ

Code of Conduct

·      Be self-sufficient and prepare for the weather conditions on the day

·      Do not swap your number or give it to another participant

·      The wearing of earphones is strictly prohibited, as is standard for road races on open roads.
