Overview
The HHM is a hilly course through the historic town of Hastings. Runners are rewarded with plenty of music and entertainment throughout, and a downhill second half towards a pretty seaside finish. Runners have been hitting the tarmac to enjoy this race for over forty years - it's steeped in local history and has grown to be a firm favourite in the racing calendar. If you're looking for an inspiring challenge, perfectly placed for Spring time marathon training - or even just a very special racing experience in its own right - and an enjoyable day out for the family then The Hastings Half Marathon is the race you've been looking for.

The Claremont Mini Run
This is a highlight of race day. Our Mini Run is available for those aged 7 - 16 and will take place at 10:45 after the main race has started. It is a point to point race with the finish in a different location from the start. Parents are responsible for supervising their children and ensuring that they are safe. To this end, parents may want to race with their aspiring racer especially if they are younger. Please note, only our junior participants will receive medals. Alternatively, parents may want to arrange for someone to meet their child at the finish line.

The race will start on the upper promenade level with breakwater 29, opposite Moreton Mansions, approximately 200m west of Hastings Pier. The race will finish at the main Half Marathon finish (on Sea Road).
