Description: The High Elms 10K race, organised by Orpington Road Runners is a challenging single lap multi-terrain course through the nature trails of High Elms and some of Kent's beautiful countryside. The race is open to runners aged 15 years or older. The race is chip times and results are published. Prizes will be awarded to the fastest three men and women to finish, age group winners. Team prizes are awarded to Athletics clubs competing with the fasted three men and women finishers from the same club. Team members will be taken from the details supplied by runners on the enrty site. Race medals will be awarded to all finishers.
If you enter and are unable to take part, your place can be transferred to another runner if you provide us with the relevant details (supplied in the race instructions which can be found on our website) before 12pm on Friday 12th June 2026. We do not offer deferrals or refunds for withdrawals.
We want all runners to have an enjoyable morning taking part in our race. However, please be advised there is a finishing cut off time of 1 hour and 45 minutes to ensure High Elms is cleared for general users of the country park and our car park can be closed on time. If you find yourself reaching the halfway point after 55 minutes, our marshalls will ask you at one of the checkpoints to take a shorter route with them to the finish line, where you will still be given a medal for your fantastic efforts. Please note that 99.9% of runners have finished well in this time in the last 5 years. We thank you for your support.
On the day entries will be advised in the week leading up to the event. At present we do not currently plan to offer places on the day of the race.
