Event Summary –

This is a one-day event with four races, aiming to provide for an inclusive and broad age range.

Race HQ, and centre of the event, is Slinfold Cricket Club.

Race times during the event -

• 5 to 7 yrs.  Start time 10:00am.  (1 lap of the Cricket pitch).

• 8 to 11 yrs.  Start time 10:15am. (1 mile/1.6km).

• 5k.  Adult Race – 12+.  Start time 10:40am.

• 10k.  Adult Race – 16+.  Start time 11:15am.

The event took place in September 2024, and the 2025 event follows the same structure.

Two new items for 2025 are the 1-mile race (8 to 11 year olds) and 5 km race (for runners aged 12 and over).

(Two Junior races, held on the Cricket Pitch, have been removed.  There were 680m and 1,020m.)

The first three races will start and finish on the Cricket Pitch, which is in front of the Pavilion building.

The 10 km race starts on Clapgate Lane, a country lane beside the village church.  This is approximately 400m from the Cricket Club.  Runners will assemble at the Cricket Pitch before being escorted to Clapgate Lane by marshals.

All four races use Chip Timing, provided by KronoSport.

Three sets of warm up exercises, led by a local coach, take place before the Junior races, before the 5k, and before the 10k.
