Event Details

This event will take place on Friday evening, starting at 5:30pm. This is an ideal venue to chase a fast time as the course is traffic-free, pancake flat and on smooth tarmac. The race is run under a full UK Athletics Licence, this means each course has been officially measured and has a certificate of course accuracy. The race will also be chip timed and results published on Power of 10. 

A Race For Athletes of All Abilties:

We will be kicking off the evening at 5:30pm with a 1 mile fun run. If you have entered a race later in the evening you are welcome to join in to encourage family and friends. Children under the age of eight years must be accompanied by an adult with their own ticket (for any distance)
At 6pm we'll be starting the 5k races, incorporating the Essex County Championships. The night will end with the Women's and Men's elite races, sponsored by Radley.

The timetable is as follows:

5:30pm - 1 mile Fun Run
6:00pm - 5km - All athletes over 23 mins
7:00pm - 5km - All athletes 20 - 23 mins
7:30pm - 5km - Male athletes 18 - 20 mins
8:00pm - 5km - Male athletes 16 - 18 mins
8:30pm - 5km - Radley Elite Women's Race (sub-20 mins)

9:00pm - 5km - Radley Elite Men's Race (Sub-16 mins)
