The Canterbury 10 Mile Road Race is a long standing event that is organised by Invicta East Kent AC. It has a race HQ at the Sports Centre of the University of Kent to the north of Canterbury and the course comprises a one mile loop around the university campus followed by a longer undulating picturesque 9 mile loop that goes through the villages of Tyler Hill and Radfall. It then turns back down the Crab and Winkle Way and goes through the village of Blean on it's way back to the finish which is close to the start.  It is a traffic free route. The race has a limit of 2000 runners and there is a time limit of 2hrs 15minutes. It is a good early test for those taking part in a spring marathon and a good opportunity for a PB.
