Event Overview: This stunning fifteen-mile race around Bewl Water is a challenging route over trails and quiet country lanes, but you won't be disappointed. It's a corker of a race filled with community spirit and heart. And, following last year's successful debut, the fantastic five-mile taster race will return to compliment the traditional fifteen-mile offering. There will be plenty to enjoy at the race village, including home made cakes and a glass of beer (subject to availability) and the local brass band will play to welcome all runners home. Course Details: The Start/Finish of the race is located a short walk down Blacksmiths Lane from the centre of Wadhurst. The race then takes you on a downhill section to Bewl Water and after covering a circuit you make your way back up the undulating lanes of Wadhurst back to the finish. There are now two sets of speed bumps immediately after the start/finish that present a trip hazard so runners should keep this in mind.
