Event Overview: This race takes place on Sunday 09th June 2024 at 09:30. The route is scenic and showcases the pretty West Sussex village of Wisborough Green, with the start and finish being in the centre of the village utilising the Village Green. The event is being held to raise funds for Wisborough Green Sports CIO a registered charity (1179541) that provides sports facilities for Wisborough Green and the surrounding area. Runners of all standards are welcome, including those new to running. The event will also include a Kids Colour Run, which will be one or two laps of the green depending on how old your little racer is (one lap for ages 4-7 and two laps for under 11's). Entries for the Kids Colour Run will be available to purchase for £5:00 on the day with each paint bag costing just £1:00. Course Details: The race will start on the road outside the Sports Pavilion on the Village Green. The race uses a multi-terrain 5k route along quiet lanes in and around the village. Those doing the 10K, complete two loops. The route is on the public highway and runners should be aware of the possibility of traffic. A short section of each lap is on a trail, but the vast majority of the route is on flat-ish, tarmac country lanes and the race has the look and feel of a road race. Please note, this race is not suitable for pushchairs, buggies or wheelchairs due to the terrain. Due to UKA rules, headphones are strictly prohibited for this race.
