First Position and Team Prize for the Harriers!
The Canterbury Harriers Jets had a blinding result at the Saxon Shore Relay last week finishing in first position in 5:14:00! The relay was a 47 mile multi-terrain, which in the hot weather conditions, was no easy run.
At the Dinosaur 10K in Deal, Tom Millard set the pace as the first Harrier in 36:40. James Taplin gained a PB of 44:22, as did Nathan Bradley in 45:02 and David Taplin in 48:25. We had some lone racers last week too, with Thomas Hooley running the 15th Bewl 15 Mile Race in 2:01:13 and Mark Cooper the Rye Summer Classic Series 10K in an excellent 41:19. At the Dartford Half Marathon, Nathan Bradley gained an excellent time of 1:48:42, where the course consisted of three main hills with the 10% gradient coming in at the tenth mile.
