A total of 25 Harriers following Head Coach Gerry Reilly`s spring marathon programme competed in the Paris Brighton and London events rounding off with Tony Savage tackling the partially flooded ! Milton Keynes race.
Not long after Ray Cameron experienced similar monsoon conditions and the trauma/inspiration ? of running through a “Peace Line” in the Belfast Marathon.
Excellent runs by all with a range of impressive debuts and PB`s. Particularly impressive were the performances of Barbara Wenman 3rd FV45 in Paris in 3:13:19 and Tina Jones 3rd FV65 in 3:54:17 – both lifetime PB`s. All can now relax and look forward to the reassuringly miniscule Inter Club Relay Series legs from 15th May onwards.
